Muddy Waters brought it to the blues; Keith Richards made it a cornerstone of rock. That is the very character we sought to capture.
We recorded it as a living instrument—without cherry-picked takes or embellishment: string buzz, percussive attack, and the raw detail that distinguishes an instrument with history from one that merely sounds technically correct. Twelve velocity layers per fret. A middle-position tone captured as a genuine pickup interaction, rather than a sum of two digital signals. • Uninstalling the batch uninstaller is now much easier than before!
• We didn’t think we’d need to check the version because we always provide enough information in the Runtime.txt file.
• Version 1 of the signature uses the ECDSA P256 + SHA512 algorithm. There are no problems on real Windows machines.
The problem is that the P256 + SHA512 combination is not that popular and can cause problems in the emulated Windows environment.
That’s why we switched to version 2 (ECDSA P521 + SHA512). Please note that we will no longer change the signature scheme
unless we find a vulnerability. If Windows emulation still doesn’t work correctly, please contact
the emulator developer for a fix or contribute to the solution.

• If the “Signature verification failed” error occurs when activating the software using the R2R System, restart your PC or move the .r2rwm file to another drive and run it.

Comments on this update:
• Uninstalling the batch uninstaller is now much easier than before!
• We didn’t think we’d need to check the version because we always provide enough information in the Runtime.txt file.
• Version 1 of the signature uses the ECDSA P256 + SHA512 algorithm. There are no problems on real Windows machines.
The problem is that the P256 + SHA512 combination is not that popular and can cause problems in the emulated Windows environment.
That’s why we switched to version 2 (ECDSA P521 + SHA512). Please note that we will no longer change the signature scheme
unless we find a vulnerability. If Windows emulation still doesn’t work correctly, please contact
the emulator developer for a fix or contribute to the solution.
